Chapter 3, Flowers and Families Summary
Clancy gives the reader insight into the mind of the terrorist who escaped the scene of attack by following him back to Ireland. The unnamed terrorist is a master of accents and disguise. He is irritated that an American Irish Catholic has interfered, but he is infinitely patient. His group will try again, and he is confident that they will succeed. He spares a thought or two for the captured man, Sean. He is confident that Sean will not betray their group or their cause.
