Wednesday, March 10 Still the Big Party Summary

The developers are giving their speeches at the after party. This is when Mia meets JP's father. Mia thinks JP's dad will relinquish Genovia to Grandmere because he's going on and on about Princess Mia bringing his son out of his shell. JP's father confirms to Grandmere that he withdrew his bid for the island.

Mia gets Grandmere to admit that the benefit had nothing to do with the olive farmers and everything to do with winning the faux island. She also gets Grandmere to admit the reason she wanted Mia to kiss JP is that she shouldn't be so serious about one boy at sixteen. Then, Grandmere hands Mia a check for five thousand dollars.
