Summary
Fabien wakes up in the morning feeling hungover. He and Nell have coffee and discuss Fabien’s idea for a new book, the main character of which closely resembles Nell. Afterwards, they kiss. The setting shifts to the Hotel and Fabien asks Nell if she wants him to come inside and then offers to bring her to the station, but she declines both offers, as Fabien is late for work. Before they say goodbye, they acknowledge that they are not sure if they will see one another again, with Nell insisting that he write his book, because she wants to know the ending. Fabien realizes looking at her that she has changed slightly and looks more confident, happy, and relaxed, and he finds himself at a loss for words.
