Summary

Nell arrives at the hotel reception and finds Peter, whose appearance disappoints her, as he has not shaved and is wearing faded jeans, a T-shirt, and flip-flops. When Nell asks him why he came, he lies and tells her that he did not want to leave her alone. As they are going upstairs though, the concierge hands Nell a note from her friends that informs Nell how they forced Peter to come. Nell leaves the hotel and takes a cab to the Bar Noir. Fabien is not there, but the bartender tells her to try the Wildcat bar. Nell gets into another cab, but the driver does not know the way to the Wildcat.
