Evelyn (Evie)

Evie is the main character of Paranormalcy and the story is told from her point of view in the first person. She is a teenage girl working for IPCA, an agency that protects humans from paranormal creatures. Evie is special because she can see through the glamours that paranormals put up around themselves as a disguise. As such, she is very valuable to IPCA. In fact, it is because of her that all the agencies in other countries decided to join forces and create the international agency IPCA. Evie is good at her job, but longs for a more normal teenage life. When a teenage paranormal boy called Lend breaks into the center, Evie begins to fall for him.
