Evie goes to see Lend and tells him about her encounter with Reth and what he said about the prophecy. Lend asks if Evie can send an email for him, but she says IPCA will catch it, then lock her up for treason. She is willing to risk it to see if they can get the email out in time, but Lend tells her that he has another goal, to get her out safely. He wants her to have a better life than just working for ICPA forever. Lish contacts Evie to tell her that Raquel is returning with some important ICPA bosses, so she should not be caught in Lend's room.
