Chapters 15 and 16 Summary
After spending the day at the spa with Sidney and her mother, Katie arrives home. Her brother is telling her parents about tryouts and proudly announces to Katie that he made junior varsity. As Liam starts telling them about the speech the coach made about people being envious of Quahogs and mentioning indirectly what Tommy Sullivan did the year they had to forfeit the state championship, Katie accuses Liam of drinking the Kool-aid.
Liam continues on to say that Tommy lied about the entire scandal. Katie says Tommy is not a liar. They continue to argue as their mother is listening to the messages on the answering machine. Tommy left a message for Katie about what happened the night before and leaves his cell number. When Liam hears this, he starts berating Katie even more and Katie goes after him. Her...
