Chapter Eleven Summary

In Now, Julian and Lena wake in a small room where they are being tended to by a woman who looks like she's missing half of her face. Both Lena and Julian are weak and have been hurt in the attack. Julian is very protective of Lena and wants to make sure that the woman with half a face is not going to hurt her. The woman whose name is Coin, explains that she an Invalid and her people have been cast out for their deformities and that they live in the underground subway tunnels. She says that she's going to help them get out.
