Chapter Three, Now
Lena is back at the high school. She is sitting in class daydreaming and pondering what the point is of the procedure and if Julian Fineman will go through with it though it may kill him.
The teacher stops Lena on her way out of school and tells her that she is worried about her because she is not fitting in. Lena worries that the teacher might figure something out about her and Lena says that the girls seem juvenile, not having had their procedures yet. The teacher nods in understanding and allows Lena to go on her way.
