Summary
In Chapter Two, Joe catches a ride to Ramallah in a taxi. He discusses politics and occupation stories with the other passengers in the car. Percussion grenades ring out along the whole ride. There is an incident in town and Israeli soldiers swarm the streets. Joe escapes by catching the first cab back to Israel and he goes out dancing at a night club. A man selling milk at the dance approaches Joe, and their conversation leads to the milkman telling Joe stories about how his friends have all been shot at by the Israelis. They soon take Joe to the hospital in the pouring rain, where Joe meets many victims of soldier abuse depicted in jarring panels with hard lines.
