Summary
In Chapter 39, Angevine formed a hasty plan to leave the country and told Vikki what had happened. She cursed at him because he had made her an accessory to his crime when he had her give the note to the Russian. He bribed her to drive him away from her apartment by giving her his BMW. Nate and his partner followed Vikki’s car when it left her apartment. Benford called Nate and told him that the man for whom they were looking was named Sebastian Angevine but they had no proof yet that he was the mole.
