Chapter 17 Summary

Delphi's men drag in a badly injured Giordino. Delphi lets it be known that he knows who Giordino is and that he and Pitt are boyhood friends. Pitt begins to dig, telling Delphi that he knows Cinana was the informer. Summer had mistaken him, Pitt, for Cinana in the hotel bar where he was with Adrian. Summer had even addressed him as Captain, accidentally. Pitt keeps digging, knowing that he is making Delphi nervous finally telling him he is wearing yellow contact lenses, and then mentioning the names of Lavella, Roblemann and Moran.

Delphi lunges for Pitt and misses. Delphi pulls a gun from his desk drawer. They are all interrupted by Summer who tells her father that he cannot kill in his house. Delphi gives in to his daughter and says they will put Pitt and Giordino on the surface water let...
