Summary

In Chapter 12, Lara Jean talks to Stormy, a resident at Belleview, about dating relationships as they work on Stormy’s scrapbook. Stormy, who has been married four times, tells Lara Jean that Stormy is one type of woman, the heartbreaker, while Lara Jean is the sort that will get her heart broken. Stormy describes how dating was more casual when she was a teen. It was not uncommon for a girl to date several different boys at one time. A girl did not dedicate herself to one boy until she was sure she wanted to marry him.
