Summary

In Chapter 19, Paul went back to Paris and tried to find Mia. Daisy implied to him that Mia had returned to London with David. Paul left to meet his editor, who showed him a folder full of tabloid pictures of him and Mia, who Paul then realized was really the famous actress Melissa Barlow. Paul threw up and ran outside, then went to see Daisy, who confirmed everything that Paul suspected. Paul spent the next few weeks writing a new novel alone in his office. He had decided to forget about his old one. Then one night Paul saw Mia on television with David, giving an interview about their new film. Paul could not write anymore and so he called Arthur. Mia, after the interview, broke up with David for good and told Creston that she was leaving town for awhile.
