Chapters 6-8 Summary
A Small Boom. Father Tim finds himself wondering what Mack Stroupe's motivations are for running for mayor as he drives past one of his billboards. At home, Harley and Lace are busy fixing up the basement apartment, smelling the house up with paint. At work, Father Tim has to show a group of people from Miami Development around Fernbank. They might want to purchase the house in order to turn it and its grounds into a first class spa. As they walk through, Father Tim finds himself become more and more uncomfortable with the idea of these people buying the house as they continuously point out its flaws.
