Mrs. Dunnigan's House

Mrs. Dunnigan’s House is where Z spends a majority of their time when they are not at school. It is a safe space for Z as they try to figure out their new status as a zombie and where they fit into the world. However, this changes when Mrs. Dunnigan’s selkie skin is returned to her, forcing Z out on her own, as the police will not let her live on her own. The house is described as a quaint place filled with cats who are all wary of Z. Mrs. Dunnigan herself does not make a lot of money running the bookstore, but she is able to maintain and pay for the house before she is forced out by the mob.
