Summary

In Chapter 17, Z sees a line of police cars in front of Mrs. Dunnigan’s home. They run and are later found by Elaine and Tommy. As Z struggles to walk, the group decides to go to Mr. Weber’s house. Elaine carries Z to the house and Mr. Weber rushes them in, saying that there is a spell that scouts the area every ten minutes that was put in place after he was arrested. They tell him what happened and Mr. Weber says he will think of something as he worries his monitor will find them. He says he created a portal to a friend in Idaho, but if he takes all of them it will kill him. He says if Z undoes the necromancy spell that is holding them together, that would generate enough energy. He then says it was dangerous...
