Summary

Verse 4, called “A Monster Unleashed,” restarted the chapter numbering with Chapter 1. Soro found Kate on the ground. Kate told them that Sloan had the Chaos Eater. Soro punched her in the ribs and saw the silver in her eyes. August returned to the Compound and found Kate in a cell. Henry questioned her for joining the FTF when she knew she was infected by the Chaos Eater. A siren sounded and the Compound lost power. In Chapter 2, Kate broke out of her handcuffs and left through the door when the power outage unlocked it. She rejoined the FTF as they prepared to defend the Compound from Sloan’s attack.
