Summary

In Chapter 8, a group of Malchai and Fangs attacked August and an FTF squad. August killed the Malchai and brought the Fang in for questioning. Then he walked off alone. Alice sent four Malchai after him and August killed them. When August returned to the Compound, Henry reprimanded him for abandoning his team. In Chapter 9, Sloan instructed the engineers to destroy the Compound. One of the engineers tried to attack him and Sloan snapped his neck.
