Chapter 81: Lucinda berates herself for her critical reflexes. Despite her realization that she is in love with Oscar, she snatches her arm away when he moves to take it on the street. After an internal struggle, she finally makes herself reach out and take his arm. He has an idea that he wishes to share with her at dinner.
