One of the main themes of this book is how to achieve success. What are some different ways success can be defined? Which ones does Grant seem to focus on?

Grant talks a lot about economic success, and successfully pitching products. He talks even more about success at work, but this can come in the form of economic success, pitching a product, move up the latter, but it can also come in the form of philosophical or moral victories like moving the company in a new direction or making sure all voices are equally hears. Finally, he talks about success in reaching social or historical goals, like the women's suffrage movement. However, his main focus seems to be on economic success, and he spends a lot of the book talking about markets, sales pitches and risk portfolios.

Grant backs up his writing with a lot of sources, some famous some not. What is the overall effect of this? What are the positives? Do you think there are any negatives?
