Summary
In Chapter 26, when Langdon reported to Fonseca that Winston had sent a picture of the getaway car to the authorities and was also calling Uber, Langdon noticed Fonseca’s surprise. Fonseca ordered Winston to allow him to make the call to Uber. He was frustrated when he got a computer recording.
As he waited on hold, Fonseca told Langdon that he would be taking both Ambra and Langdon back to the palace in Madrid. Langdon refused. When Fonseca returned his attention to his phone call Ambra told Langdon that she was the one who had added Ávila’s name to the guest list. She told Langdon she had done so because Prince Julían had requested that she add him. She sensed they were not safe at the museum and needed to leave right away.
