Chapter 2 Summary
Dallas learns that Pia, Dr. Icove Sr.'s assistant found the body, while Peabody goes to get the field kits. Pia is quick to let them know that his last appointment had been with Dolores Nocho-Alverez, who had come in at 11:30 that morning. Pia had gone to lunch, and when she returns, finds the doctor dead in his office. Icove Sr. had taken on few patients, semi-retired now, and rarely had become involved in surgery. Once the victim is formally identified, they begin to run down the crime, determining that the crime was committed by someone who is familiar with the facility. The woman had given a false identity, and can be seen on camera, calmly, making no effort to hide herself.
