Summary

Michael is feeling frustrated and alienated following Melissa’s date night, and he believes that Melissa no longer finds him attractive. Michael attends a social event hosted by the company that employs him, and he looks forward to seeing Rachel there. Michael spends most of the event with Rachel and a few other coworkers. They all drink large amounts of alcohol. Later, they go as a group to a dance club. Michael is 37 years old, and Rachel is 25. Michael and Rachel go to Rachel’s apartment and have sex.
