Summary
In Chapter 10, Chinonso boards a plane heading from Nigeria to Istanbul, Turkey. It is the first time that Chinonso has ever been on an airplane. The chi digresses momentarily to revisit its criticisms of Europeans and their destructive history of colonizing African nations. The chi then admits that European nations have produced some useful and amazing things, such as airplanes. Chinonso is awed by the experience of flying through the air on an airplane. Chinonso arrives in the Turkish airport and searches for Jamike, as they are supposed to board the same flight to Cyprus. Chinonso encounters a Nigerian man and explains his situation. The man warns that Jamike may have deceived Chinonso in some way.
