Summary
In Orbit 11, Shaun prays for the lunar astronauts and for Chie in her grief. When Chie goes to check on the mice she discovers that they have let go of the bars of their cages and are floating freely, just as she had urged them to earlier in the day. Chie feels suddenly overwhelmed by grief. She curls up in a ball and floats in the lab. In Orbit 12, the six astronauts watch a movie together, about Russian cosmonauts who become possessed by aliens. All six fall asleep during the course of the film.
In Orbit 13, the narration retells the history of the universe from the Big Bang to the present day, presenting the timeline as if it happened over the course of one year, with the Big Bang occurring on January 1st of this hypothetical year. The other events of the history...
