Summary
The mountain lion moves to a new thicket in a nest of twisted trees above a path. He listens to hikers talk about their therapists and whether or not they make them feel good or bad. The mountain lion wants a therapist, but does not know if he feels good or bad. Since he is always hungry, and that is bad, he supposes he almost always feels bad, and he thinks a therapist can help with that, and with why he feels afraid after earthquakes.
