Chapters 13-14 Summary

Leslie and Richard are back in the seaplane talking about their experience with Krys and Linda. They are excited about a world without war and decide to continue their explorations. They land in a meadow near a forest and feel they are in a place without a civilization. An injured leopard drags itself out of the forest. They wonder what they can do to help it. A woman appears and runs toward the injured animal. She tells the injured animal, who she calls Tyeen, that it is not his time to die. The injured animal is healed and she sends it off.

Richard and Leslie talk to the woman who says her name is Mashara. She says that she is then in her own dimension. Richard and Leslie want to know where they are. She takes them to a stone house...
