Chapters 10-11 Summary
Richard and Leslie land in a mountainous area which Richard thinks is Switzerland. Leslie says that they are in France. They come across a man who they think is praying. There is a light around the man. Richard feels that this is something he has experienced before and is what he calls love. Then the light disappeared leaving behind a sheaf of golden paper.
Leslie picks up the sheaf of paper and begins to read it. It is scripture written for the inner being. The old man introduces himself as Jean-Paul Le Clerc and says that Richard and Leslie are angels. He was told they would come when the pages appeared. Le Clerc says the wisdom of the pages must be named and given to the world. When they give it a name, that will make it a religion and that...
