Mab Mitchell

Sometimes called “One,” Mab was the first of the triplets born. She does not have the deficits her sisters have; but, she feels that comes with its own disadvantages, including the fact that she is expected to help as “the least she can do.” She is expected to work every afternoon as a tutor. She does not think that she is making a difference because she is ill-equipped to be of any help. She and her best friend Petra have been studying and making plans for college since they were very young. She has never had a boyfriend until she begins spending time with River, and he symbolizes everything she feels is important and exciting outside Bourne.
