Jess Thomas is the 27-year-old single mother of Nicky and Tanzie. Beautiful, optimistic, independent, compassionate, nurturing, and dedicated to her children, Jess believes that people must always strive to be good, to do good things, and to face each obstacle that comes their way with determination and a brave heart. This is all in spite of her ex-husband, who never comes around and who rarely ever pays child support.

Jess’s primary focus initially is to find a way to scrape together money to send Tanzie to St. Anne’s.
