The Lure of Gossip
It is human nature for people to be curious and want to compare themselves, including their own faults, with those of others. Knox, Phoebe, and Maeve all fall prey to the lure of gossip even though they try to stay above the rumors and bullying. The students of Bayview take the lure of gossip too far when they torment fellow students over rumors that might not even be true. Even the students who know the danger of gossip find themselves eager for what is coming next, especially when they believe the subject of the gossip has nothing to hide.
