Summary

Chapter 20 is narrated by Knox. Another letter threatening Eli with death has been sent to Until Proven. Sandeep believes it is from the same person based on the font. He seals it in a plastic bag to keep from contaminating it.

On Knox’s way home, he takes Nate’s jacket, which he left at Until Proven, to him. Knox sees that Nate has blueprints spread out on his desk. Nate says he is helping Knox’s dad with the garage investigation. He points out to Knox there is not enough debris from the collapse. Nate wonders if someone had tampered with the site by removing some of the support joists.

At home, Knox gets into a fight with his father when his father suggests that Knox does not work hard and that he has no respect for his work. He notes...
