Summary

Chapter 6 is narrated by Knox. Knox and his sister, Kiersten, decide to take a break from their video game to eat. On the way out of the house, Kiersten asks their father about his intentions to hire another one of Eli’s exonerates. Mr. Myers notes hiring Nate has worked out well and that Nate is smarter than people might think. Knox is frustrated because his father never asked Knox if he wanted to work at the family business. He senses that Nate is the type of boy that his father wishes he had as a son.
