Summary
In Chapter 10, Bronwyn narrates as she meets with her lawyer Robin Stafford. It has been one week since Simon’s death. She advises Bronwyn not to talk about the case with anyone from school or the police department. When she learns that Nate has been to Bronwyn’s house three times, she tells Bronwyn to stay away from him as well as the other students possibly involved in Simon’s death.
At school, Bronwyn searches Nate out despite her lawyer’s warning. Nate tells her that he had visited her house to apologize for stealing Jesus in their fourth-grade Nativity play.
