Summary
In Chapter 3, Bronwyn narrates that everyone in school knew about Simon’s death even without his app About That to update them. Even though the things Simon put on the gossip column were not nice, they were true. Bronwyn had never been featured on the app and believes she had committed only one act which he might have talked about had he been aware.
In the school day after Simon’s death, Bronwyn is so distracted that when she walks past Nate in the hallway she stops and talks to him. As she looks at him she realizes he is attractive and has trouble holding her train of thought. When she walks away from Nate, Bronwyn’s friends comment on his reputation as a troublemaker and a “man-whore” (31). Bronwyn informs them the label is sexist but does not say anything else about...
