Summary

In Chapter 14, narrated by Phoebe on July 7, at the café, Phoebe is impressed by the amount of support she is given from her friends. She feels like she is part of the group again.

Maeve tells the group she has found nothing that suggests anyone from the revenge forum is planning anything in Bayview. Addy suggests perhaps Jake kidnapped Phoebe. She points out that the word written on Phoebe’s arm was the same thing Jake told Phoebe about learning to change a flat, that she needed to practice. Addy believes that Jake is practicing to kidnap her. Since Jake is allowed to be at Bayview High, he could have stolen Patrick’s keys.
