Summary

In Chapter 7, narrated by Addy on July 4, Ashton shares with Addy that Eli has learned that the billboard that announced the new game was hacked. Eli is worried it might be someone from the revenge forum trying to finish up what Jared started. Addy said Ashton should go stay with their father, but Ashton refused.

In Chapter 8, narrated by Phoebe on July 4, at Nate’s Fourth of July party, Phoebe notices that Maeve will not meet her eyes. When Phoebe confronts Maeve about her strange behavior, Maeve tells Phoebe there is an Instagram page where people post pictures of Jake. She shows Phoebe a picture of Jake changing a tire and asks if it is Phoebe’s car.
