Poems 80 - 106, Letters 10 - 12: Summary
Lizzie calls and Ruby is thrilled to hear from her friend. She misses Lizzie and tells her all about Colette, school, Whip and her emails to her mother. Lizzie tells her about school, Amber and Ray. Then her step-mother calls and she has to get off the phone. Ruby hangs up and calls Ray. They tell each other they miss each other and talk about the time they kissed in the rain. Ruby implies she wishes they could do more than kiss and tells Ray she can't wait to see him at Thanksgiving. Ruby goes to the kitchen for ice cream and finds Max there in his pajamas. She is happy to find out he lives at the house too.
