Summary

In Chapter 5, August confides to Niko that she found the vintage photograph of Jane and thinks she may be a mythical creature. Niko, who is clairvoyant, tells her that it is more likely that Jane is a ghost and suggests they perform a séance. That evening, Niko, Myla, Wes, and August sneak into Miss Ivy’s to perform their ceremony. Their neighbor, Isaiah, joins them and Niko leads the group in summoning Jane from the beyond.
