Point of View

This novel is told by two different first-person narrators, Liz and Erin. Each brings a different interpretation of what is happening in the novel. Liz is part of the group from Snoop even though she quit the company years previous. She is attending the ski vacation because she owns two percent of the company. Liz narrates as Topher and Eva fight for her loyalty because Liz will cast the deciding vote on whether or not the company is sold. Erin, meanwhile, is a worker at the chalet where the Snoop employees stay during their vacation. Erin’s personal tragedy has caused her to create a new reality for herself as a working-class person even though her father is a marquis. She gives the viewpoint of a person who is critical of the lifestyle that Topher and the others live because she was once there herself...
