Summary
In Chapter 10, narrated by Erin, Topher storms out of the room, grabs a bottle of whiskey and tells Erin to “add this to the bill of that Dutch bitch” (55) and heads outside, making her wonder what happened. As Erin serves dinner, the atmosphere is strained.
Later, as Erin goes about her work, she can hear Miranda and Rik talking alone in the living room about Liz’s connection to Snoop. Rik worked with Liz, but Miranda did not. Rik explains Liz saved the company when it ran out of cash two weeks before it was supposed to launch the app. Liz invested ten thousand pounds her grandmother left her in the company, but in exchange, she asked for voting shares. Therefore, Topher and Eva own 30 percent of the company each, Elliot and Rik each own 19 percent, and Liz owns two percent. Rik says...
