Summary

Evangeline is terrified as she sneaks into Wolf Hall to confront Tiberius. She slips into his room, leaving the truth serum on his desk, the antidote to the love spell, disguised as a beverage. As she is making her way through the castle, searching for an exit, she encounters Marisol. Marisol hugs Evangeline, telling her that she has been so worried, and is so happy that Evangeline is alright. Though Evangeline knows she cannot trust Marisol, she has limited options. Marisol tells Evangeline that she will help her escape Wolf Hall. When Evangeline asks Marisol why she is being so nice to her, Marisol seems determined not to let the guards catch Evangeline.
