Summary
I Become Royalty – Alice is not at Manorkill Falls. Sam and Bando consult their maps of Schoharie County and Albany County. Below them is a farm, and Sam wants to ask the people who live there if they have seen anything. He believes Alice’s directional stone and acorn mean not only a change of direction, but a change of plans as well. He believes now that Alice wants to be followed, and will have left this change of plans with a person. Bando doesn’t believe it is a good idea, for he thinks that the farmer will call the police to let them know a little girl is missing.
