A Program Change

This is what the Egg Alien's characters say each time a Valerian clone appears and creates problems with their program. It symbolizes the fact that Valerian is using the programs to track the Egg Alien while the Egg Alien is trying to avoid the tracking. It is also symbolic of the fact that the characters can only do what they are programmed to do. The Valerian clone's appearance often interrupts scenes because the characters cannot make decisions without a new program.

Space

Each time a Valerian clone dies, he falls off something or through something into space. In these cases, space symbolizes death for the Valerian clone.
