Ants

The ants in "Arrested" symbolize Jack and Olive as they recover from the traumas they have recently endured. Jack sees the Ants as he is driving back from Portland, where he spent the afternoon thinking about his damaged relationship with his daughter and regrets surrounding his late wife.
