Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

Chapter 7

Emma stayed out of school for a day recovering from being hit by the door. But she is determined to go back. She has decided that she is not honoring Chloe by the way she has been acting. Chloe is gone and Emma must live her life. Galen is a jerk and she plans to change her schedule when she returns to school. She is pretty sure it was Galen who hit her with the door. Her mother heard from one of the teachers that Emma had been arguing with Galen right before she was knocked out. It was Galen who carried Emma into the office after she was knocked out. Emma is suffering from short-term memory loss.

Emma's mother is upset with her. She doesn't like secrets! Why didn't Emma tell her that she was dating Galen? Emma responds...
