Chapter 1

Emma McIntosh runs right into a guy on the beach. She should have been looking where she was going. She's really embarrassed and afraid to look up at him. His hands on her shoulders give her a tingly feeling. She gets the nerve to look at the guy and he's gorgeous! Chloe, best friend and track star, is rushing to Emma ostensibly to see if she's all right but really because the guy's so cute. Chloe quickly introduces herself and Emma to the guy and makes a remark that Emma usually wears a special helmet.

Emma feels like strangling Chloe. Her mother was right. She should have stayed in New Jersey and not gone on vacation to Florida with Chloe and her parents. Chloe's just trying to get revenge because Emma wouldn't let her use her ID to get a...
