Summary
1. While Jane is arguing against going to Ticonderoga, cell phone service is restored. Jane checks her voice mail, and learns that she has several messages from Charnoble – all looking for Mitchell. When Mitchell calls Charnoble, he learns that Charnoble’s phone has been ringing non-stop with calls from people wanting to meet with Mitchell. As they talk, Mitchell also sees that television technology has also resumed, and that he is being identified as the only person who saw the flood coming – he is being referred to, by Charnoble and by the television, as The Prophet. After the conversation finishes with Charnoble, Mitchell starts receiving phone calls, including one from a journalist who claims to have sat next to him in college.
