Summary
After helping Annie out of the tub, a representative of the building’s landlord comes to the door. He is collecting money to fix up the common areas of the building, such as the staircase. Annie objects, and blames the prostitutes living downstairs and their male clients for wearing out the staircase. Felix intervenes, telling the man to leave the necessary paperwork and he will have her sign it by the end of the week. As she convinces Felix to go up on the roof with her, she talks about film producers who used to visit, paying to use the deck, fixing it up and then having sex with her.
